Thing # 2 - 7 & 1/2 Habits
7 1/2 - The easiest: To Play - Laughter is the best medicine
3 - The hardest: Viewing problems as a challenge - I do enjoy a challenge, but sometimes resolving a problem can have many solutions and the hard part is choosing the best one.

Things
Thing # 1 - Introduction, read it, done.
Thing # 2 - Learning vs Training - 7 & 1/2 Habits. Work in progress....having fun!
Thing # 3 & 4 - Blogged!!
Thing # 5, 6, & 7 - My Favorite pics!
Thing # 8 & 9 - Almost a piece of cake. After a while understanding this excercise it was easy to find feeds. I like the little orange icons and added a few feeds to my blog. I would use them daily for current news, cooking , weather, sports, and music.
Thing # 10 - Love Tech! My favorite gadget is my ipod. Love music! As far as work goes, I like learning new programs, software, and troubleshooting. The Technology Dept. has helped me a lot along with other co-workers. I could list names but there are so many, I could write a book. I'm sure you all know who you are and I thank you!

Thing # 12 - Netlibrary ( I did not care for) I do not find it useful for myself.....I don't even listen to books on audio...I prefer to sit on my couch and read the book. As far as assisting someone with it.....yes.
Worldcat - I liked this search tool. My search took me across the globe. Amazing!
Thing # 13 - Tagging & Del.icio.us - I found these to be somewhat entertaining. Tagging to me is just another form of bookmarking, but it allows you to connect to other people. I created two tags.
Thing # 14 - Technorati: This was o.k. I searched two of my favorite subjects: Corgis and GSD's. I came up with youtube videos which I could not resist watching.
Thing # 15 - Library 2.0 - Still not sure I totally get it. It seems to me thats what we are doing now with this challenge? And Technology upgrades?
Thing # 16 - Wiki's - This area was fun to explore. What I did not like was the fact there is vandalism out there and password protection must be used. There is a lot of good info out there. As far as O.C.L. goes, maybe a readers advisory wiki would be useful, or S.D.D. would also benefit with a wiki. I went further and searched quite a few wiki's. I came across a German Shepherd wiki that has a lot of good info. I even learned quite a few things I did not know.
Thing # 17 - The Sandbox - Yeah, I played in it. What Fun! I added my link to my blog and made a few entries. Its fun to go back to see what else is being added.
Thing # 18 - Web Apps - I found some of the tools here very useful. I liked Zoho tools, for example, the notebook, web conferencing, and planner. I also liked Google Docs and created an account which will be useful to me for a document I will be working on.
Thing # 19 - Web 2.0 Awards - There was a lot to look at here....first of all, what I did not like was project stat.us and edit grid. What I did like was Wufoo! Some of the items I may very well use is Emergengy contacts, To do list, meeting form, and address book. I also liked the following catagories....Video(youtube) which I visit a lot, widgits- (check out Johnny Depp!) Library thing, real estate, and Health.
I will revisit this site as there is so much to explore! My award would go to Youtube! But there are so many to chose from. :)
Thing # 20 - Youtube - I absolutely love this site! I visit it often and my two favorites are Weapon of Choice w/ Christopher Walken. The other is the Nextel Commercial w/ the workers dancing in the office. And one of my favorite tunes "Hold on Tight to your Dreams" by ELO :)
For some reason Weapon of choice stopped working, so I had to delete it. You can still see it on YouTube.
Thing # 21 - Podcasts - There are so many out there! I do use Itunes, but I prefer Limewire. I also watch pods on Americas Test Kitchen, as I love to cook. I signed up on Odeo and downloaded a song to my blog and posted a reply to that site. :)
Thing # 22 - ListenNJ - Again, I am not a fan of audio books. I did go and download a book, but the instructions are not cooperating. So I put the printed copy on hold to read. I did not like this thing 22 and will not bother with it any longer :(
Thing # 23 - Wrapping it up- This was a great challenge! Kudos to all who brainstormed this idea! What I liked best....Technology,Youtube, Podcasts, Worldcat, and the Sandbox. What I disliked.....Netlibrary and Listen NJ, audio books are not my cup of coffee.
